The idea is to offer affordable Primary/Community health care to the residents in the various communities where the pharmacies are situated. A Professional nurse is based at each of the clinics.These nurses have the qualification to conduct most screening tests, minor diagnosing treatment within their scope of practice, dressings and health education. Baby care facilities are also available and parents are encouraged to bring along their babies and children for their immunisations.
Sparkport also offers travel and flu vaccinations, Vitality and Oxygen Medical Aid assessments, Family planning and Pap smears.
The clinics are open daily for your convenience from Monday to Friday till 4.30pm inclusive of Saturday mornings. Our Overport branch offers an evening clinic.
